Just starting to look at bh - I’m interested in Wordpress and how it works - thoughts? John

QuadsZilla Says:

Wordpress is the best blogging software on the market.

I was using b2evoution, but the comment and referal spam filters suck. Some of my blogs got overrun by referral spam . . .

Specifically for Black hat blogging, Blogger.com use to be good but they are really cracking down. If you set up RSS spam and they catch you, they will delete you account.

RSS traffic tends not to convert anywhere near as good as search traffic. I would rather have 1000 search visitors for converting (to money) than 5,000 rss feed clicks for coversion.

To get Wordpress to do all the things you really need, you want to have some understanding php, but you can learn it as you go - wordpress is designed to be used by people of all ability.

I wrote my own piece of blogging software, till I discovered Wordpress. You can’t invent the wheel twice as they say in Holland. So I stuck with Wordpress.. Their structure is clear. It’s also a good way for people to learn some php, if you play with it ofcourse.
