A month ago, CNET ran an article discussing how Google might allow too much access to people’s personal information. To demonstrate, CNET reporter Elinor Mills found all kinds of personal information about Google CEO Eric Schmidt.
Google was not happy about this. In response Google flexed their muscles and decreed to all their employees: Thou shall not talk speak to CNET for 1 full year.
Google’s hegemony is on the horizon and . . . um . ..
I for one welcome our new robot overlords.
Zdnet (under the cnet umbrella), on the other hand, fired back at Google with this scathing “apology”
It’s one of the funniest apologies I’ve ever read. Enjoy.
