Fun With Posters

On a larger scale, it isn’t that difficult to scrape all the data and slap on an affiliate code link, and integrate into your content site. Plus It’s a nice way to change up to footprint so your spam site doesn’t look so spammy.

Here’s another page out of the SEO black hat handbook:

Scrape sites like All Posters or Postersupply to populate your computer generated sites with images. There are probably 300,000+ images on these sites and they all have a certain amount of usable meta data (descriptions, categories, keywords. . . etc.).

These images can be integrated into your sites with affiliate links to purchase the posters. Sure, it’s not all that likely that someone will want a poster, but earning 25%-30% of every purchase made by your surfer isn’t so bad. And even if only 1 in 1000 of your surfers buy a poster, the math starts making sense very quickly when you have millions of page views.

Plus, the affiliate programs use cookie tracking so if they purchase within 10 days of the last visit from your website, you’ll still earn commission on the sale.

You can link to the affiliate program’s selection of hundreds of thousands poster and art print images as well as poster stores and mini stores.

They have posters related to just about everything (e.g. movies, music, sports, art, animals) so no matter what the content of your site is, you will find images that are a good fit.

It’s easy to sign-up, track your sales, and build links because the site generates all the HTML code for you. On a larger scale, it isn’t that difficult to scrape all the data, slap on an affiliate link, and integrate it into your content site. Plus it’s a nice way to change up your footprint so your spam sites don’t look so spammy.

I’m by no means saying this should be your only revenue stream, but why not make it possible to monetize your images? If you are going to sign up for the affiliate program, I ask that you do so through one of these two referal links:

Postersupply

Over the next several weeks, I’m going to start getting more detailed on exactly how to make money search engine spamming. Obviously, I’ll be holding a few things back, but in general I would like to WANT to make you, my readers, successful.

The best way to do that is to get you signed up under my webmaster referral links at a few worthwhile affiliate programs.

Worthwile, for sure. It’s alot easier to build around that much content, and so many categories. I found another one… http://www.cardbuilderpro.com 12,000 images and hundreds of categories. (don’t want to promo to much). I was able to get pretty high results and make the site look completely like I wanted to. Comish rates are pretty good too. Just like you said ” not difficult to scrape all the data, slap on an affiliate link, and integrate it into your content site”. Great review for allposters (i signed up).

Love the site and the posts. I have my own method of scraping content which is pretty tedious especially if you want to personalize it. Can you elaborate on ‘best practices’ for scraping images, content, entire sites etc. and shed some light on how you do it specifically? Maybe I’m just lazy but it seems there must be a more automated way than my methods.
