I know you don’t come here to read about my life, but too bad - here’s some of it anyway. Tomorrow I leave Los Angeles for Brazil and plan to be there for about 4 months, then a month Venezuela, then a month in Colombia. Eu falo o portuguese y yo hablo espanol tambien so there won’t be a language problem.
I’m bringing my laptop and a 20″ LCD (only the bare essentials) so I’ll be able to write again as soon as I can get high speed Internet access. It may take a week or so to get setup, but be sure to check back in - I have some really cool projects that I’m going to let you in on in the very near future.

i stayed in venezuela for a month a few years back. I liked it a lot. make sure you get up to the mountains. try taking a flight (the bus ride sucks) to merida. Get a room there and hike up to sierra los nevados. It’s unreal. if you want a good place to stay email me….
