They have about 45 reported per month in colombia and My friends brother-in-law was kidnapped home invasion style in the time I've been down here. That was about a month ago - the kidnappers have not even asked for a ransom yet! The police say it's normal to have to wait 3 months bofore getting a ransom request. Plus, it's a little scary how many people have guns here. But it's really a beautiful country. You just gotta be careful. Kidnapping is a huge business over here. They have about 45 reported per month in colombia and My friends brother-in-law was kidnapped home invasion style in the time I’ve been down here.
