Court Sealed AT&T Docs on NSA Spying Released by Wired

After a Judge decided that the Electronic Frontier Foundation could not publish the AT&T Whistle Blowers insider doccumments on the unwarranted, unconstatutional spying of the NSA on American Citizens, wired has decided to publish them. From the actual documents:

I wrote the following document in 2004 when it became clear to me that AT&T, at the behest of the National Security Agency, had illegally installed secret computer gear designed to spy on internet traffic. At the time I thought this was an outgrowth of the notorious Total Information Awareness program, which was attacked by defenders of civil liberties. But now it’s been revealed by The New York Times that the spying program is vastly bigger and was directly authorized by President Bush, as he himself has now admitted, in flagrant violation of specific statutes and constitutional protections for civil liberties. I am presenting this information to facilitate the dismantling of this dangerous Orwellian project.

Some people are upset right now over the price of gas. Personally, I don’t believe it’s the place of the government to attempt to control prices. But unwarented searches and these types of infringement on personal liberty are unforgivable if we hope to live in a free society.

The Electronic Frontier Foundation has been fighting for your rights online since 1990. I know there has been some discussion lately about what kind of ads to have on a website. Well, when I saw this add on Gizmodo,

Electronic Frontier Foundation

I knew it belonged on SEO Black Hat and on the sites of people who care about protecting public interest in every critical battle affecting digital rights.

They have other versions of the banner including:

They are available here.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t despise Americans, I’m just trying to put some truths out there because I know you’re all subject to a LOT of brainwashing TV.

Take a minute and read about the MKULTRA program on Wikipedia. Too lazy? Here’s a rundown… they studied mind control (FOR 20 YEARS!) and specifically “controlling human action through electrical impulse or other recognizable source” Think back to history class and try and remember when the television was becoming popular…..

This is “the man”s dream, to have a digital feed into every home in America. To be able to track and control your every move.

EXAMPLE 1: You’re watching David Letterman (as I was the other night) and he cracks one of his legendary jokes while tossing a peice of paper and synchronizing it with a crashing sound as it hits the camera. Shortly afterward, you’re brought to a commercial break, where he again tosses the peice of paper and you hear the same crashing sound effects. That sparks you memory to think “Oh yea he just made that funny joke ha ha” and you’ll be less likely to change the channel because you believe that Dave is funny.

    All is well…

EXAMPLE 2: You’re watching CNN (as the majority of Americans do am I wrong?) and they’re talking about immigration and the bad effects it has on our communities. They’re talking about how they bring all this crime with them and that they’re stealing the Native American’s OUR resources…. and then all of a sudden, cleverly mixed in between their in-between-headlines-elevator-music you hear a distinct “BEEEEEP” and you probably wouldn’t think anything of it. But just there, you were brainwashed.

I was high at the time, so my hearing was enhanced (one of the only possible reasons I can justify a 25 year sentence for marijuana possession in some states… it makes you too smart believe it or not and is a proven anti-carcinogen) but that BEEEEEP was the exact same BEEEEEP you hear when that annoying “illegal operations” screen pops up.

You know the one I mean, you could be doing anything and then all of a sudden “Blah something illegal operation” and you’re not angry but slightly upset.

So what part of your memory gets sparked every time you hear that annoying illegal operations BEEEEP? That’s right kids, the mean, dirty, ugly, poor, money grubbing immigrants that are so bad and so so mean to you… right…

I still can’t figure out why America wants to spy on it’s own citizens.

I feel terrible for all you Americans down there, soon enough we’re going to have to re-open the underground railroad.

Matter of fact, I can’t figure out why you Americans do (or go along with) anything that your president says? Most of the world (everyone who’s not in the bush’s pocket) laughed when you re-elected that IDIOT.

    - He can’t properly manage a business, and that’s all America is an enormous business in debt.
    - He himself has lied to you publicly on countless occasions.
    - He went AWOL himself while he forces your children into the battlefield.
    but most importantly…
    - HE’S THE SON OF A PREVIOUS PRESIDENT, A BAD ONE AT THAT. MONARCHIES DON’T WORK PEOPLE, THEY WERE DEEMED USELESS LONG, LONG AGO.

All of these poor qualities and you RE-elected him… for what? Did he promise you a little tax break? More work?

That’s the politician’s sales pitch people. If they didn’t boast more money for you then nobody would bother voting, we’re all very selfish people at heart believe it or not. (Canajuns too!)

What I’m getting at here is that you Americans are living in a dream world. You’re walking to the beat of somebody elses drum. I’m sure even Quads can attest to that, having actually mustered up the guts to leave America considering every other county is “dangerous territory” according to the CIA World Fact Book.

It’s like watching a comet hurdling towards the center of the sun. You’re going full speed ahead not knowing that you’re going to melt because you’ve never been there before.

All of your “art” like your heartwarming “American Movies” are as cheap and cheesy as the chilly dogs sold at the concessions out front. It’s no wonder they’re 50% advertising, otherwise they’d never turn a profit!
