Here is a Brilliant Google Maps Mashup that seeks to have a wiki about every place in the world. This takes local search to the next level - I think it could be HUGE.

I like the map feature. As long as they do not turn the service into a spam of wasteful links. FYI BTW, the tag for “Searh Engine Marketing” is misspelled on Technorati - Thanks, isaac
