Given the likelyhood that this was going to pass, it should have been pretty obvious that the public companies in the Uk were going to take a beating when this happened. So the smart thing to do would have been to sell them short a few weeks back. Anyone go for it? Partpoker alone lost 2.3 billion pounds on Monday. That was a big pot of money to be had there folks...
