QuadsZilla These last few weeks have been incredibly hectic. Between buying and selling sites, tweaking a custom CMS, stacking the seo black hat forum, traveling all over the world, visiting lawyers, partners, and investors, getting back into the gym and everything else, I’ve barely had time to breath.
The 2 projects I couldn’t help notice getting tons of ink are Blogrush and the Million Dollar Wiki. So congrats to those guys for a full on web-relations assault. I wish you both the best of luck (even though I haven’t visited the sites) and congratulate you on your early success.

And Jeff Random turned me on to a really cool new novel, Accelerando, that’s available for a free download from the author. I’m about 100 pages in and it’s SUPER Geeky . . . and that’s just fine by me.

I see that you’re buying and selling a lot of sites recently. I work in the co.za domain mostly. The problem with it is that there is no, yes none, of the advanced domaineering infrastructure that is in place in the .com domain. The domain registrar allows whois lookups but there is no way to find out expired domains. I have tried a bunch of tactics including running a spider against the dmoz entries for the geographical region to check if any came back 404.
Any thoughts on other tactics? I am pretty fluent in most programming languages, so any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
