I see that you're buying and selling a lot of sites recently. I work in the co.za domain mostly. The problem with it is that there is no, yes none, of the advanced domaineering infrastructure that is in place in the .com domain. The domain registrar allows whois lookups but there is no way to find out expired domains. I have tried a bunch of tactics including running a spider against the dmoz entries for the geographical region to check if any came back 404.
Any thoughts on other tactics? I am pretty fluent in most programming languages, so any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
