What Do You Need To Make Money Online?

I’m looking for post inspiration. If you’re not already making a living online, what do you feel you need to get over the hump and claim your financial independence? What are you lacking? How can I help?

Well it would be good to meet someone that’s truly good at what he/she does face to face and discuss my goals the options and strategies required for a proven plan.

Because the Internet is great but it feels too distant sometimes and I need that constant micro management or mentor ship to get me started. I haven’t met anyone around my city that knows seo or blackhat, so its hard to discuss it with anyone and I don’t like forums much but I haven’t tried yours yet, so it could change my mind.

I’m not giving up its been 2 years and haven’t made any money yet but I dont care i know I will sooner or later.

Testing is always a blanket answer for a lot of things but where do you go to get new ideas to turn a profit? You probably fail like everyone else but your successes outnumber the failures (maybe not quantity wise but $$$ wise). When do you know what’s poppin and what isn’t (and how long do you stick around when it isn’t)?

Time x2. You obviously can’t give me more time, so I’d like to hear your advice on how to use my time more effectively. Let’s say I’ve got 10-15 hrs per week to focus a on side project(s).

I often find myself getting caught up in a site that I think is a great idea at first. I design, build, launch, setup some PPC or try link building….then 3 months later I determine that it sucks and have to move on to something else.

It would be great to see how you think about approaching/creating a new site or opportunity and what you focus on most (e.g. link building, ppc testing, content writing) to get the site off the ground and growing.

If you don’t have ninja BH skillz or a network of sites to throw links at something new, what do you put MOST of your precious time into?

    Thanks.

Time is the biggest problem. I think the problem is knowing when you have enough skills amassed to leave the 9 to 5 to try and venture on your own. I made a pact with myself that if I can make 50 dollars a day from my online ventures I would quit, but unfortunately I am still only at 3 to 4. It is way up from a year ago of .30 a day, but I still do not feel comfortable enough to leave a steady paycheck.

Hey , man you are a glutton for punishment!! I suppose there are a number of things that people will want to know but essentially what is the best way to start off your black hat empire I would want to know! Mentoring systems are always good too!

Time management is a big issue for me at the moment, i’d be interested as mentioned above how to best manage project time, and more importantly how/where do you set your priorities.

I would love to work with someone that could mentor me. That seems hard to find as no one wants to share their “secrets”. I completely get that, but I have to think that the earners know how to get it done with stuff that is outside their core offerings, so why is it too much to ask?

I’m tired of buying books, reading sites and downloading stuff, only to get overwhelmed at the vast amount of information. I believe that if someone walked me through step by step on a few different ways of making money online, I would then have the first hand knowledge to figure out my own path. Essentially, you would be walking people through step by step for just the low hanging fruit. I’d be willing to work for near free through a program like that.

Time again. How do you get it going when you have to work full time to support your family. Snow days are great but not frequent enough.

    Hey everyone. New guy here.

I’ve been making websites for a while for other people and now just want to make them for me. My biggest hurdle right now is choosing a good niche to work on this year. I have too many general ideas and I need to condense it all into just the right one to run with NOW.

    I’ll make the time.

    Focus.

I spend too much time reading what other people have done rather than doing it myself.

I get about 1/2 of what I need be break free through Adsense, affiliate marketing, and a few clients. The only trouble is the fluctuations and making the leap. From you Quad? Consistent paying projects/clients where you we share a cut?

  18. I just need a bit of time.
Once my online profits top my day job compensation package for 3 months in a row – I quit my day job.

lol. Some of the comments here are funny. Yes, the successful business men and women who make significant money online are going to spend their time mentoring a random person on a forum who can’t learn for himself. There is no “These 25 steps followed exactly will make you millions”. Making money online is NO DIFFERENT to making mony in the real world. It’s a business. You learn the game, you play the game, you profit.
It’d be like asking Richard Branson to help and mentor you teaching you how to run a business. If you’re finding all the information overwhelming then I’m afraid you don’t have the ability to make money in this way. The people that do well are very smart and determined. They read and understand the material. They don’t have ‘free mentors’.
Stop begging for mentors. Ask specific questions like “What are people’s opinions on such and such.”
