If google had to optimize for itself:

My money says this is a response to Viacom lawsuit. The judge ordered Google to give all their YouTube visitor data to Viacom. People are finally starting to question why Google collects and stores all this information about people.
One quote stood out to me:
“We will ask Viacom to respect users’ privacy and allow us to anonymize the logs before producing them under the court’s order.” — Catherine Lacavera, Google’s senior litigation counsel.
If they’re having to anonymize the data, then maybe it’s finally dawning on the brain dead, Google-loving media that there’s a Big Brother element to Google.
Great points. I guess that means that they ARE currently tracking what every user is doing and matching it to as much personal data as they can.
BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING.
blatently to save them some legal cases, now theyll go round stamping on kittens then when someone moans theyll refer them to their kitten stamping clause 23.b
