		<description>Indeed, tis worth doing if you have a Twitter Wordpress plugin that shows on your blog the # of friends. It counts for something then... possibly percieved as more popular... dare I say... reputable. Same could be said for Feedburner etc...

LinkedIn is another one too. I&#039;d possibly make up Matt Cutt accounts and see how many people connected to me. Suckersss. But of course, I wouldn&#039;t bother doing that as a means to inflate my own connections. Although, getting friends on there is easier, just by creating a really simple Q&amp;A question that lots will reply too, then send out &#039;thank you&#039; messages with a &quot;Btw, I&#039;ve put a friend request in, please accept as I love to connect to people in my industry/area of interest&quot;. Not actually achieving anything with this inflated numbers right now, but I&#039;m sure I&#039;ll figure that out at some point... but whatever it is, a 1% conversion rate of xx,xxx is much better than xxx.</description>
