What Can Questions Do For You?

Can they build suspense? Do they capture your reader’s interest? Can they make you rich?

When is the right time to ask a question?

Are there any hard and fast rules?

If an answer is obvious, isn’t it better to have your reader or prospect come up with it by themselves? Won’t that make the idea “theirs’? Would that be more powerful?

Can questions make you a better Blogger?

Do questions make you think? Do they make you answer in your mind or out loud?

Do questions engage your reader? Does asking questions focus the conversation on your readers and their needs? Might questions reduce how often you say “I” or “we”? Could they help you focused instead on “you” and “your”?

Would your readers appreciate that?

What about sales?

Why do great sales people love to ask questions?

Can questions help you increase sales?

Is it better to have a prospect answer “Yes” or “No”?

What happens when you ask a question and your prospect answers “yes”? What if you string along a series of such questions? Would that get them in the habit of saying yes? Would all of those little yeses help you get the big “yes” you want at the end?

Could adding more questions to your sales copy increase your sales?

Do questions in ads increase CTR?

Are you using enough questions? Are you asking the right questions?

Wouldn’t testing be the best way to find out?

Why should you ask questions?

How can you convey ideas or control a conversation with questions? How can you get people to agree with you if you haven’t stated anything? Could an informative post really be written that contains nothing but questions?

Haha! Nice try! Certainly engaging and thought provoking and even useful but, informative? No.

  2. Aha, very good, very good. Lack of comments on this doesn’t do it justice tbh… although, I’ve just noticed you have 115 comments in moderation still. Slacker much? :)
