The Kindle 2: Amazon’s New Wireless Reading Device, looks Amazing:

It weighs just 10.2 ounces

Kindle is just over 1/3 of an inch

(this was the pic that sold me!)
I just pre-ordered the Kindle 2: They say it’s due to ship March 2nd. After it comes, I’ll have a review.
How much of a geek are you really if you’re not the first one on your block to have one of these? Actually, most SEOs and Affiliates that I talk to don’t read that many books – so maybe it’s just me.
Do you have the original Kindle? If so, how do you like it?

Hey Quadz
I had the use of my brothers Kindle for a few weeks in the UK and now need my own. Living in NZ not an easy thing to get but I will find a way. Surprising that not many SEO’s read many books!! Best thing there is!!
Cheers
Does it also release the smell of a nice fresh book? Can you break the spine in and still use? No, I think not.
Do flight attendants make a big fuss about using it on board a plane?
I had a look around and some say it’s fine as long as you switch off the wireless and others say they weren’t allowed to use it. The latter being a bit unlikely… but I’m curious.
As someone who flies quiet a bit I can tell you it’s all about what kind of flight attendant you have and how much they like you. But I would go ahead and turn off that wireless.
Nice and slick, are the books purchased and in a form of an e-book?
