I was looking for some Bing logo variations in Google (ironically).

Nice how they have an AVN (Adult Video Network – ie porn) as the first result.
Gotta say, Bing looks like their doing a better job on this (which has been happing quite a bit lately)

and they’re not so petty about their competitors.

I’m calling it: 2010 is the year Bing gets serious traction. Even without the Yahoo deal, they’re set to go from 10% market share right now to more than 15% by Dec 2010. Remember: you heard it here first.

Doesn’t look like Google has done anything to the image search results; Bing is just irrelevant.
Microsoft has been trying to put together a successful search engine for years. Bing still has the same crappy results as its Live and MSN Search. It should, since there’s nothing significantly new except the name.
The only thing that’s likely to happen to Bing in 2010 is for it to fail miserably and be rebranded again.
Surely that is Google doing their job ? The “actress” in that photo is called Carmella Bing and I imagine she gets searched more than Bing does in Google.
“and I imagine she gets searched more than Bing does in Google. ”
Not a chance. (or am i being thick and you were being funny?)
Ugh! I’ll take BING over GOOGLE just to get rid of the fucking FADE!
You provided an invaluable tip some time ago with the http://www.google.com/ncr redirect– do you know if there is another redirect to avoid the fade?
