The man writes better than I do. Brian started copyblogger.com well after many of us “veterans” started blogging and is pretty much kicking all our asses in terms of readership. Why? Because he teaches people how to sell through copy writing better than the rest of us. I heard his last sales letter that sold ice vending machines converted at 40% . . . and that a mailing done to the American Association of Eskimos! Careful, though, after our last conversation I gotta figure out how to make payments on this damn bridge he sold me . . .

Martin Sinner:
Martin is a German SEO legend who once horded 5% of all Google Germany traffic with his scraper site. But now, his Darker Hat days have long been over . . . Martin is founder and managing director of Idealo Internet GmbH (www.idealo.de), a Berlin based company which runs product and flight price comparison websites within Germany, France and UK. Idealo.de is amongst the top players in Germany and within the top 50 of all German websites. As Idealo has been acquired by Germany’s leading publishing company Axel Springer AG in 2006, Martin is now responsible for several SEO and SEM activities of Axel Springer companies.

Joost de Valk
Joost is the proprietor of yoast.com and prolific coder of SEO Tools and Wordpress plugins. Joost is the one of the most respected and well known SEOs in Holland.

Johannes “Sistrix” Beus
Sistrix is one of the most popular, most read and just best SEOs in Germany. He’s a white hat, but his continued success proves that there’s more than one way to skin a cat.

Bob Rains
A hands-on leader with expertise in branding, advertising, media planning, collateral/website development and online and offline marketing campaigns. He excels in designing highly effective online marketing strategies that reduce cost per sale and dramatically improve ROI and was Brand Advocate for the sneaker empire of PUMA.

The people I’m not writing profiles about are more under the radar; they’re the people you haven’t heard of that have more traffic and make more money on the Net than the ones you have – truly my kind of crowd. They include 2 of my close business partners who I would personally vouch for. Sadly, Rsnake’s informed us of a scheduling conflict and won’t be able to make it. But based on our conversations, I’m almost more excited about meeting some of the low-key folks than the high powered names headlined above - and that’s saying A LOT.
